Marine Terminals Corporation ("MTC") is a diversified company that is engaged in contract stevedoring and terminal operations on the West and East Coasts, software development for stevedoring operations, equipment maintenance and repair services to marine shipping companies, and trailer, container and chassis repair and inspection for railroads, leasing depots and domestic truck carriers.

GMB was engaged by MTC to evaluate the company's capital needs and potential sources of capital, and to analyze the existing debt structure, which was constraining the company's ability to raise additional capital for joint venture relationships.

GMB performed in-depth analyses of each of MTC's nine subsidiaries and 20 joint ventures. GMB ultimately assisted MTC in amending its credit agreements and negotiating the divestiture of its non-performing assets through a management buyout.
