Ankmar Door, Inc. ("Ankmar"), with operations in Colorado, Kansas and Oregon, manufactures, distributes and installs residential and commercial garage doors and openers. Its proprietary clad panel product has garnered national recognition. The owner / operator of privately held Ankmar had decided to sell the company, retaining GMB as Ankmar's exclusive financial advisor.

GMB conducted a broad auction process involving both strategic and financial buyers. GMB successfully negotiated the sale of Ankmar to Denver-based Gallagher Industries, a family-held private equity group that partners with entrepreneurial management teams to build long-term value. Gallagher acquired Ankmar as a platform on which to build a company with a substantial national presence. Debt financing was provided by Harris Nesbitt and Churchill Capital.
