Established in 1978, NTR plc is a leading international operator and developer in renewable energy and sustainable waste management. The company planned to expand its operations to North America during 2007 through a subsidiary, Greenstar North America (GSNA).

GMB served as exclusive financial advisor to NTR and GSNA during a series of acquisitions. GMB orchestrated every aspect of GSNA's first four acquisitions, from the various components of the due diligence process through documentation and ultimate board approval. Four acquisitions, including Recycle Management Corporation, Delta Management Group, Todd Heller Inc. and Joseph Damato Paperstock Corp., were completed in 10 months, thereby rapidly establishing GSNA as one of the largest private processors of recyclables in the US.
