Tom Fencl, Managing Director602.240.2753
Mr. Fencl joined GMB in 2002 to open the Phoenix office. He has a broad range of
experience in middle-market corporate finance transactions including acquisitions,
buyouts and recapitalizations in a variety of industries. Prior to joining GMB,
he spent a total of 13 years in the Structured Finance, Middle Market Financial
Sponsors and Middle Market Investment Banking units of Bank of America/Banc of
America Securities. Mr. Fencl began his banking career with The Continental Bank as a
senior associate. Prior to attending graduate school, he served in U.S. Army
infantry battalions in the United States and Germany, ending his service as a captain.
