Barry Lutz, Managing Director

Mr. Lutz joined GMB's Phoenix office in 2009 as a managing director. He has nearly 15 years of experience in mergers & acquisitions, corporate advisory, private financings and management consulting. He has worked with a broad range of public, private and private equity clients, including American Express, Birds Eye Foods, Goldner Hawn, the Harlem Globetrotters, Monessen Hearth Systems, The Riverside Company, Samuel Lawrence Furniture, Summit Partners, Vestar Capital Partners, Wells Fargo and Welsh Carson. Prior to joining GMB, Mr. Lutz was a senior banker with Greene Holcomb & Fisher, where he focused on deal origination and execution with a specific concentration on the western United States. Previously, he was an investment banking professional with UBS Investment Bank and Credit Suisse, and a senior management consultant with Accenture. Mr. Lutz is an executive board member/officer of the Arizona chapter of the Association for Corporate Growth (ACG), co-chairman of the 2008 and 2009 ACG Arizona Capital Connection events, a frequent speaker on M&A topics, a winner of the Arizona Business Journal's 2007 "Forty Under 40" award and a first degree Black Belt in Ed Parker's Kenpo Karate.
